Final Week!

Hello my lovely artists!

Thank you for joining me in creating art over the last 13 weeks!

We have created some truly beautiful things and I am so grateful to all of you for joining in!

This week, you can have a look back through all of the weeks and pick one you would like to try that you haven't, or do your favourite one again!

This week you can be as creative as you want! Adapt one of them if you wish and use all the techniques you have learned.
Enjoy!

Outer Space Week

Why not have a go at creating a solar system using salt dough?
Use some card board as the backing and think about the order of the planets. Which ones are big? Which ones are small?

Landscape Week!

This week, inspired by Isabella's suggestion, is Landscape Week!

Other nature inspired art you could do:

Go outside and create a picture using only natural materials you find in your garden / the woods
Try and find things are are colourful and have great patterns!
Take a photo and send it in / put in your folder on the portal!

Chef Week!

 It's Snack-tastic Chef's week!
Thank you to Ryo and Isabella for the great suggestion!

Why not have a go at making some Salt Dough pizza - or any food!  You could make a mini kitchen-full! Fruit, vegetables! What ever! Have a look at the method below to remind yourself

You could have a go at a fruit bowl if you want!
Draw a still life from some fruit in your house or make some up and decorate the background how ever you want. See if you can add some patterns in! Here are some we did a few years ago in school!

Thanks to Cassie Stephens!

Weaving Week!

Thank you for the suggestions this week! I've decided we are going to do a practical art week - and do some weaving! Keep an eye out next week as well for some of your requests.
If you were in Year 3/4 last year, you might recognise these - thank you for suggesting it.

Weaving is SUCH great fun!
There may be a few tricky bits along the way so you'll need your resilience - but it's chock full of maths, hands-on learning and helps your fine motor skills!
I LOVE it!

If you're a newbie to weaving, start with the paper weaving, it will help you understand the 'over, under' technique you'll need.
If you're a bit of an expert - go straight for the circle loom! You might need a bit of parent or sibling help to get this one started.

In hard and tough times, our pets often get us through! Even if you don't have one, let's celebrate our furry (and scaly) friends this week:

PET WEEK

There are two videos this week, super easy and cute 'Origami Pets', and 'I Love My Pet Selfies'!

There are also loads of pets you can draw here

THIS WEEK I THOUGHT I WOULD ASK YOU LOVELY ARTISTS WHETHER THERE IS ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO DRAW! OR ANY IDEAS FOR THEME WEEKS!
